A Custom Platform to Connect the Academic, the Administrative… and the Human

At IFES, they faced a clear challenge: improve their digital presence and make everything work better—from enrollment to course access, including financial administration. With a constantly growing and increasingly digital educational community, they needed a solution that could rise to the occasion.

The challenge:
This wasn’t just about redesigning a website. The goals included:
• Displaying their academic offerings clearly and attractively
• Integrating financial management with their ERP (Finnegans)
• Connecting with the national academic system SIU Guaraní for all academic processes
• And of course, ensuring everything worked smoothly, securely, and across all devices

The solution:
We created a comprehensive web platform, fully custom-built, that connects all the dots:
• A dynamic, responsive institutional portal that’s easy to navigate and manage, thanks to a CMS tailored to the IFES team
• Direct integration with the Finnegans ERP, enabling frictionless flow of enrollment, payment, and reporting data
• Connection with SIU Guaraní, allowing students and faculty easy access to courses, calendars, enrollment status, and more

How did we do it?
We implemented it module by module, step by step, to avoid disrupting the institution’s daily operations. We developed custom APIs, followed security best practices and UX design principles, and trained the IFES team so they could manage and scale the platform independently.

And the results?
• Increased traffic and longer user sessions on the portal
• Reduced administrative workload thanks to automation
• Happier students: better user experience, everything in one place
• A more traceable and organized system for internal management
